Good news from the base camp
A bit of a rough transaltion: Hello, This Monday January 9 the news of Jean-Christophe is good!! Yesterday Sunday January 8, he left the base camp to sleep with 6000 meters of altitude. This morning, he assembled to install its camp with 6900m and to spend the night there. The weather is nice, there is wind but it is rather well protected. The crossing of the cracks on the glacier becomes delicate, it made safe the passage of a crack by an end of cord because the latter became open and crosses the glacier! Tomorrow January 10, he will go up to sleep with 7400m of altitude in Makalu. The 11, it is expected that he sleeps at 6900m because the wind  during 24h00 to reach the speed of 110 km/h in Makalu.  He will see more according to the evolution of the forecasts weather. The moral and the "super" motivation always! He can finally move of its base camp after several days under the tent!!!

So long and good week!
