2004: First winter ascent of Shishapangma (8046 m) alone, without oxygen. He opening also one variante by 1000 meters.

2004: Makalu II (Kangchungtse 7678m.) : Jean-Christophe are completly alone in the virgin and tibetan face.  He opening one very hard and technical new route “Katia and Tom” until the summit of Kangchungtse 7678m. He try to continues at the summit of the Makalu but he stop around 7900 meters because he are to tired after this very difficult climb.
