Yan Giezendanner, meteorologist at Météo France is Jean Christophe’s weather router.

His help is invaluable as it means Jean-Christophe can prepare his strategy for his ascent benefiting from maximum good weather.

We have been working with him since the ascent of K2 2001.  A great deal of confidence and friendship has come out of our collaboration with this modest person whose role is of utmost importance during Jean Christophe’s ascents.
